Ciara &Tekno Accused Of Stealing New Song

Ciara is trending online for her new song ‘Freak Me’ featuring Nigerian singer Tekno.

The dance has gone viral and her fans have taken up the dance viral. Watch her sexy moves in the short clip she shared on her Twitter page.

As the song gathers momentum, Ciara is now being accused of stealing the song from Tiwa.

Say what now? Sounds crazy but someone somewhere has this theory in mind and suggests that Ciara sampled Tiwa’s lyrics from the 2015 album R.E.D (Romance Expression Dance). Both ‘Freak Me’ and Tiwa Savage’s ‘Before Nko’ also share female sexual empowerment and availability themes.

To promote the single, Ciara posted two short clips featuring her and other women dancing in the streets of a different African country. This time she does the gwara gwara in South Africa.

This prompted Ciara to give a shout out to Tiwa for her contribution. Ciara tweeted on Friday, August 10, thanking Tiwa on the inspiration and the sample used in Freak Me.
