Court Fines Patience Jonathan

The  Federal High Court Port Harcourt has imposed a fine of #50,000 on the wife of the former  ppresident Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for withdrawing a suit against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission ( EFCC).
 Mrs. Patience Jonathan  in February 2017 instituted a suit against the EFCC which she was
 Seeking order of the court the ' Enforcement of
  her fundamental human right to own property, fair hearing,private and family life and freedom from discrimination'.
Kayode Oni counsel to the EFCC fulted the former first lady on her prayers before the court arguing that her suit was 'an abuse of court process'.
